I'm Quézia & lesCogumelos, a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist.
My diverse artistic passions have led me to cultivate a unique style of mixed-media animation, where digital and physical mediums harmoniously converge.
As a nomad at heart, my work draws inspiration from nature, solitude, magic, spirituality, and the depths of my own memories.
BALI ART RESIDENCY 2025 was a month long residency in the tropical island of Indonesia, 10 artists working with different mediums from all over the world. Curated by Kirill Pobedeen, a photographer and creative director, the residency has a single motto "by artists for artists". Fully fundaded by patrons, it was exhbited at Sun Contemporany Gallery in Bali, digitally presented by SuperRare, all the works can be seen and collected here.
My project for the residency is titled Jepun, The Sentinel. A 12x12cm mixed media sculpture. Paired with a digital animated collage, titled The Mischief Sentinel. This piece is a transcultural interpretation of Balinese and Brazilian folklore.
